Regency Inn And Suites - San Francisco

I had a prolbem checking in, the front desk girl stated that I reserved a doulbe bed smoking room, when in fact I don't smoke. I had to argue with her in order to get my non smoking room.

Over the entire hotel was comfortable, the sink in the bathroom was "odd/awkward". The cleaning staff.

My girlfriend and I were greatly disappointed with this hotel. Upon check in, the hotel staff was not friendly. We then proceeded to our room, where I discovered that the door to our room did not close completely and it appeared as if someone broke into the room. Hotel was basic but clean; could use some work. Manager was friendly and helpful. My room had a good refrigerator and microwave. 10 min from the airport via free shuttle. I would give this hotel 1/2 a star. It would be good for the local hookers and their johns. I'm surprised that I didn't see any roaches. I'm sure they are there, but I didn't see any. Thank fully!

This would be a convenient stop for travelers on business, close to the airport and not far from the main street with lots of dining and conveniences. New owners were in the process of renovating the office/breakfast area and the rooms. Our room had some work completed, but you could see they have a few more things to complete.
